Norman is a blockchain specialist with a profound understanding of Crypto, DeFi, and the overarching landscape of digital assets. As a serial entrepreneur, he has been involved in the Blockchain and Digital Asset space since 2014, with ventures in mining, masternodes and trading.

He holds a Master's from the London School of Economics (LSE), where he acted as a Tutor on the topic of Blockchain and Cryptocurrencies, and is author of 'Smart Contracts in Corporate Governance'.

At SCRYPT Norman evolves the strategic vision, promoting an agile and entrepreneurial working environment while building innovative products and investment solutions. Norman's deep expertise in blockchain, digital assets, trading ecosystems and technology infrastructure has led to the development of a frictionless operational trading platform at SCRYPT.

Sylvan Martin

Sylvan is responsible for frictionless operations and management, business strategy, team management and business relations at SCRYPT.

He has a true entrepreneurial zest, along with the work ethic and high standards needed to transform ideas through successful implementation and strategic oversight.

Founder of the Crypto Investor Network and an alumni and board member of HWZ, Sylvan has a wealth of Blockchain and Digital Asset expertise. Before founding SCRYPT he served as the Head of Investor Relations at Fidenzia AG, where he managed strategic partnerships and handled communications effectively.

As a founder of SCRYPT, he is well versed in all matters and areas of the business and has been a main driving force for growth on all fronts.

Marc Wäckerlin

Marc is a seasoned technical leader with over 30+ years of experience in the finance industry and software development. His impressive track record showcases his ability to create, build, and scale companies with a demonstrated focus on innovation.

Marc holds a Master’s degree in electrical engineering from ETH Zurich advanced his software development abilities at Siemens and SwissSign. As the former Chief Technology Officer and Executive Director at Sygnum Bank, a renowned Swiss crypto bank, Marc showcased his visionary leadership. He led the redesign of their technology systems, improving operational efficiencies and driving the company's success.

His comprehensive knowledge in both fintech and broader software development makes Marc a key contributor to SCRYPT's technological advancements.

Cyril Pipaud

With an expansive 25-year tenure in asset management, Cyril recognised the transformative potential of blockchain technology and digital assets in 2017. Convinced of its revolutionary impact on the financial sector, Cyril made a strategic move to SCRYPT in 2021.

Cyril worked for 15 years at BNP Paribas Asset Management (BNPP AM), where he led the development of a broad spectrum of investment products targeting investors in Europe, LatAm, and Asia Pacific.

He spent 5 years in Hong Kong from 2015 to 2020 to lead the Product Strategy & Development Asia Pacific team where he was primarily focused on the development of global and local investment solution for all BNPP AMI entities located in Asia Pacific.

Cyril significantly contributed to the inception and growth of Zebank, a pioneering digital bank that was later acquired by Egg Banking Plc in 2002.

Cyril holds a Master 2 in Banking and Finance from University Robert Schuman of Strasbourg and a Master 1 in Economics, Banking and Monetary Policy from University Paris Dauphine-PSL. He is also a member of the CFA Society Switzerland and is a CFA charterholder.

Matthias Mettler

Matthias serves as the Chief Compliance Officer at SCRYPT, backed by extensive experience in compliance and risk management.

He co-founded a notable professional organization for independent asset managers and later assumed the role of CEO at SRO PolyReg.

This hands-on involvement has equipped Matthias with a deep understanding of regulatory standards and industry norms.

His academic journey led him to the University of Zurich, where he specialised in political science, constitutional law, and journalism.

Further enhancing his credentials, Matthias undertook the CAS program in Compliance Management at the University of St. Gallen. Within SCRYPT, Matthias is pivotal in strengthening the company's compliance framework, upholding regulatory compliance, and fostering a culture of transparency and trust.

Lois Masson

Lois Masson is the Relationships Manager at SCRYPT, leading a pivotal role in our ongoing efforts to amplify our crypto asset solutions for institutional clientele.

Lois brings extensive network and experience in FinTech and Crypto, which enriches SCRYPT’s digital asset solutions and services for institutional clients. As part of the institutional desk, Lois works closely with our leadership team and advisors to oversee all aspects of new and existing client portfolios, ensuring their success. He drives business development initiatives to fuel the company’s growth strategy.

He brings over 7 years of experience in institutional digital assets solutions, digital banking, consulting, and account management to SCRYPT. A significant portion of his career was dedicated to Swissquote as their Relationship Manager, where he was responsible for proactive sales initiatives and referral opportunities. He has a strong understanding of crypto trading systems as well as Risk, Compliance, and Trading functions.

His academic achievements, including a bachelor’s degree in Economics and Philosophy from Bates College, only add further depth to his multifaceted profile.

Carolina Qui

Carolina is an asset management professional with solid background in alternative investments, real assets and blockchain ventures. 

She started her career at Amundi Alternative Investments as Product Specialist where she was trained to market hedge fund investment vehicles, and later joined TMF Group Private Equity and Real Estate division as Specialist Sales.

Recognising the potential of digital assets, in 2018 Carolina entered a DLT renewables venture and then she moved to 2030 Group, a blockchain-focused investment company, where she led the streamlining of investment operations. 

She was part of the first UK STO via the London Stock Exchange and designed international structures for real asset tokenisation until 2020.  

She graduated in Business Administration from ESADE (Barcelona), holds a masters degree in Financial Markets and Institutions from CUNEF (Madrid) and a postgraduate program in Finance from the European Business School of London.

Justin Kong

Justin is a proficient Quantitative Trader with a rich history in the finance sector, particularly in trading and investments. His expertise in applying mathematics, statistics, and machine learning to trading is commendable. Fluent in programming languages such as Python, C++, and R, Justin stands out in the domain of quantitative trading.

Prior to joining SCRYPT, he took the lead in developing trading infrastructure and strategies. Justin led a team in the development of trading infrastructure & strategies, and successfully managed a portfolio of systematic trading strategies for cryptocurrencies. He has over 10 years of experience in quantitative research, HF trading and market making on traditional and digital assets A former Delta One Quantitative Researcher at Credit Suisse NY, he assisted in developing quantitative models for hedging ETFs and block trading.

Justin previously worked on the Equity research desk at Nomura, where he produced research materials on Asia ex-Japan companies for institutional investors and has also been a Quantitative Trader at DataSpartan Technologies. He holds a Master's in Financial Mathematics and Bachelor's in Actuarial Science from London School of Economics and is an Algorithmic Trading Researcher at University College London.

Nicolas Steiner

Nicolas is a seasoned entrepreneur and venture creator with over two decades of dedication in leading digital transformation and distribution shifts. His proficiency encompasses multiple sectors, including Telecom, Banking, and Asset Management.

His notable career includes significant achievements in establishing ventures, such as emerging technology investments, which has led to opportunities to advise, partner, and lead projects with some of the world’s most esteemed clients.

His work history includes major industry players such as Swisscom, Orange, Global Cloud Exchange, Vodafone, and Bank of America, among others. Additionally, his financial expertise includes collaborations with well-known financial institutions such as Prudential and Finstar Financial Group.Currently, Nicolas holds the position of Director of Strategy and Innovation at Invesco for the EMEA and APAC region​.

Nicolas remains a pivotal figure in the digital transformation and venture creation sectors, consistently identifying and leveraging emerging opportunities.

Stephane Leroy

Stephane is an entrepreneur, investor, consultant, and advisor with a proven track record of creating and monetising shareholder value through organic and M&A growth strategies. His multifaceted skillset encompasses various aspects of business, including fundraising and entrepreneurship.

Most notably, Stephane co-founded and acted as the Chief Revenue Officer of QuantHouse. He holds two masters degrees, from HEC Paris and ESME.

Impressed by the skills and potential of the SCRYPT founding team upon their first meeting, Stephane recognised the opportunity ahead and has been actively involved ever since.

His comprehensive background and strategic approach have been invaluable in shaping the journey and successes of SCRYPT and other ventures he is associated with.

Farah Burma

Farah is our Head of Communications and Administration at SCRYPT, with 12 years of experience in marketing and design. Her experience is vast and varied, covering both digital and traditional marketing across various sectors.

At SCRYPT, Farah is responsible for developing and executing our communications strategy. This involves managing public relations, marketing initiatives, and corporate communications, with a focus on ensuring that SCRYPT's ethos, values, and overall mission are consistently and clearly communicated across all touchpoints.

Gabriel Titopoulos

Gabriel plays a crucial role at the trading desk where he manages accounts, settlements, and client communications to ensure smooth and efficient operations. His involvement with the Hellenic Blockchain Hub, coupled with a deep understanding of financial markets, cryptocurrencies, and blockchain technology, highlight his expertise.

Gabriel’s journey in the trading sector started early, leading to significant roles at prestigious institutions such as Piraeus Bank and CapGemini.

Gabriel has a Master’s degree in Investment Banking and Finance from the University of Glasgow and a Bachelor’s degree in Economics from the University of Macedonia.

Celeste Centeno

Celeste has 7 years of experience within Financial Services industry. Celeste spent eight years at Citibank, where she undertook key roles such as Internal Auditor, Treasury Business Assistant, and Operational Risk & Control Officer. Before Citibank, Celeste spent over two years at Carrefour, refining her abilities as an Internal Auditor.

Celeste graduated with a Bachelor's in Accounting from the University of Buenos Aires and holds a Master's in Big Data and Business Intelligence from ENEB (Barcelona).
